Spanning 1,000 acres in Pulau Indah within Port Klang, Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) is Malaysia’s first integrated free industrial and commercial zone. Owned by Port Klang Authority, (PKA), PKFZ represents an ideal investment for companies intending to set up or expand their business operations in South East Asia. In the pipeline is Westports Malaysia who has revolutionized the national port industry with its world class facilities and services, as well as its foresight in being a supply driven port.
PKFZ offers industries a one-stop centre where industries can easily manufacture, value-add, export and import for re-export. Westports Malaysia has grown and achieved success, not only through the expansion of its infrastructure and the upgrading of its facilities and services, but also through the development that is taking shape adjacent to the port and become one of the leading ports in the region.
Mr Chia Koon Leong, General Manager of Business Development in PKFZ, will brief AMCHAM members about the facilities and services offered by PKFZ and including the synergies between PKFZ and Westports Malaysia.
