OXCEL NEW YEAR HI- TEA - 2010

OXCEL entertained its members, both new and old, plus a handful of guests and VIPs at Pizza Milano in Lucky Garden on the 29^th December.

The top floor of this relatively new outlet was decorated with OXCEL memorabilia and with tables laid provided a delightful venue for this celebration. Even the incessant downpour outside did not dampen the mood.

OXCEL has had a busy year and with plenty to talk about to the assembled crowd the atmosphere was all positive and good humoured. The guests were shown a short DVD of the last Awards ceremony at the Pullman Putrajaya Hotel and it was good to see a number of the faces present on the screen as well. And, not least, a pleasure to see them continuing to show their support.

A new video of the events from 2010 was also presented and combining all these into one showing gave a wonderful endorsement of the OXCEL way and beautifully illustrated the depth of its commitment to all elements of life long learning.

The event was a chance for OXCEL to say thank you to all those who have supported them throughout 2010 but the evening was designed to be a networking opportunity as well so it was good to see a number of new faces there along with the regular attendees.

Pizza Milano did OXCEL proud with a lovely ‘hi-tea’ – delicious pasta and an equally enjoyable pizza, and just when we thought we could not eat any more a scrumptious macaroni appeared. All in all a very tasty meal!

OXCEL would like to thank all those who braved the rain to join them and look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year.

2011 is going to be even busier in the OXCEL world so please make sure you take the time to join in the opportunities that are there for your entertainment and pleasure.
