OXCEL continues to deliver on its promises to provide entrepreneurship seminars in collaboration of Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Putarajaya. The establishment of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) is a manifestation of the country's aspirations, entrusted with the responsibility to promote and raise public perception on the importance of the role of women and the family institution in contributing towards the developmental agenda of the nation. Nowadays, women are not only subjected to household responsibilities but many of them involve themselve in entrepreneurship. The contribution’s by women in the workforce is undeniable in its importance to the country’s economic development. Guidelines and support systems are essential to face the challenges ahead and this was the seed to start this programme.

The programme congregates speakers from all over the country to share their experiences, achievements and also their dreams. As the Director of Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita WPKL and Putrajaya,, Pn. Norhafiza Halim Faisal gave moral support and encouraged the participants to be share their own experiences in order to reap the most benefit from this benefit programme.

The first speaker touched on the ethics and business behavior that every entrepreneur should possess. It was delivered by Mr. Hamdan Yusoff as CEO-OXCEL Seremban. The presence of OXCEL Director, Dr. Jamal Nasir was highly appreciated as he shared about the up’s and down in the business world which will hold these people in good stead when they cross their own proverbial bridges.

The night session was delivered by Datuk Paduka Dr. Siti Aminah, in her speech, she spoke about the challenges in business. Being the founder of Reena’s Cosmetics, she was well-suited to talk about the topic as she has been through many hurdles in becoming what she is today. Her talk was inspirational and boosted the vibrancy in the participants. The day was wrapped up with a speech by the CEO of OXCEL, Mr. Redzuan Razali that talked about his experiences and gave some beneficial advices to the participants.

The second day of the programme started with the presentation by Mrs. Hasnah Ismail, Chairman of Human Resources Development Group, Director of Human Resources Kuwait Finance House and also the Advisor of OXCEL. She focused her speech on business leadership, which is her expertise after serving many years in the human resource department. Her talk highlighted key issues which will be useful for the participants to build their own business someday.

The event continued with the arrivals of Yg Berusaha Mr. Saadon Othman, Deputy Director of Women Development Department to launch the programme and also to deliver certificates to all participants. Mrs. Rajeshwary and Mrs. Zamzamilla Hassan were announced as best participants. Certificates and souvenirs were given by Yg Berusaha Mr Saadon Othman himself. The event continued with the handing over of a momento by OXCEL to Yg Berusaha Mr. Saadon Othman. The participants left with the euphoria of an inspirational awe that would no doubt kick start their own journey whose end will be one of success.
