25 September 2010 - OXCEL HOUSE: After a months break from OXCEL's monthly leadership seminars due to the Muslim fasting month, OXCEL continued its highly acclaimed CPD series with a new facilitator from England, Ms Deborah Willsher at OXCEL House on the 25 September 2010.

It was well attended by OXCEL Members currently undergoing the OXCEL leadership programme and it was a great time to meet up after such a long break with members sharing their personal stories of their Raya Celebrations. After a continental breakfast of tuna and egg bagels the session kicked off with Deborah actively engaging the members on how their personal brand is exposed when they need to submit their CV. Topics such as the need for inclusion of personal photographs, football club affiliations, and past work accomplishments into your personal CV may affect how the Human Resource Manager may hire you, but not necessarily the Finance Manager who has requested for the new staff. All in all, it was an eye opening experience for the seasoned OXCEL Members who although having years of experience went away with new knowledge and a better understanding of how a CV can affect your personal branding.

The session closed with a sumptuous meal in the elegantly decorated OXCEL House resplendid with its Raya decorations with the ketupat, light sticks, and green hues.
