SUCCESS DURING CRISIS - OVERVIEW OF EVENT

With participants registering from 9:00am when the conference was meant to start at 10:00am showed just how needed this conference was to the business, corporate and political professionals. Tea and light breakfast were served at 9:30am to enable the participants to create networks that will benefit them in the long run.

The conference started off with a high energy presentation by Dato Dr Kamal Jit Singh who challenged participants with his ideas on creating a culture of innovation to enable businesses to thrive in a challenging market.

Steven Wong continued the conference by highlighting from a fact-based presentation as to why we are still not out from all the crisis that has beset the world, and why we still have to be cautious in all our dealings.

The first half of the conference was rounded up by Dato Hafsah Hashim who delivered her presentation with such conviction the Government’s commitment to assist Small Medium Enterprises to survive and thrive in this crisis that it gave hope to the many business people in the audience.

Participants were treated to a live performance by the OXCEL Jazz & Guitar Duo which wowed the delegates with their versatile and contemporary take on classic European songs and also Asian songs.

Dato Ghazali Dato Yusoff carried the next session with panache as to the efforts of how the he viewed Sustainable Businesses should be created and managed not only for success today but also for the future generations.

Sverre Stoje then took the floor and captivated the audience by showing how he and his team took a batch of Employees who had a Negative attitude which were pulling down the bottomline of the business and turned them into profitable Intra-preneurs for the company.

Tan Sri Lim Ewe Jin then capped off the day with his riveting stories of how he managed various companies and the key areas that should be looked at if anyone wants their companies to be successful.

In closing the conference participants left with a sense of how they should tackle this crisis which looks set to cloud our Political, Economic and Financial scene for at least another year.
